Pirate Stadium Project Continues to Take Shape at Fernandina Beach High School

FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. — Progress continues on the reconstruction of Pirate Stadium as work crews move forward with improvements to one of Nassau County’s premier high school athletic facilities.

According to the latest construction update released June 24, significant work is underway as the stadium transformation continues. One of the most noticeable changes is the removal of the old scoreboard, making way for a brand-new video scoreboard that will enhance the game-day experience for players, students, and fans.

The ongoing renovation project is being made possible through funding from the Nassau County School District’s One Mill initiative, which has provided critical support for facility improvements throughout the district.
