OROVILLE, Calif. – According to District Attorney Mike Ramsey’s office, today a jury convicted a repeat DUI driver of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence causing injury.
Officials say Fernando Martinez Lynch, 39, of Oakley, faces up to 22 years to life in state prison, with charges from a fatal crash on Highway 162 on the evening of July 30, 2025, at approximately 7:15 p.m., outside Oroville near Loafer Creek State Park.
