Sheriff’s HEAT Task Force rescues minors, arrests six in trafficking investigation

STANISLAUS COUNTY — A months‑long investigation by the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office Human Exploitation and Trafficking (HEAT) Task Force led to the rescue of several minor victims and the arrest of six suspects tied to a commercial sex‑trafficking operation based out of a Modesto apartment, authorities said.

Detectives, working alongside Stanislaus County Probation, identified the location where traffickers and victims were living and conducted enforcement operations that resulted in five adults being booked into the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Detention Center on charges including human trafficking of a minor, pimping, pandering and criminal conspiracy. A juvenile suspect was booked into Juvenile Hall on similar charges.

Those arrested include:

  • Adonis Lartigue, 20, of Reno, Nevada
  • Haywood Moye, 21, of Modesto
  • Isaiah Amador, 18, of Modesto
  • Reginald Williams, 19, of Modesto
  • Terri Austin, 20, of Modesto
  • One juvenile suspect from Modesto

All are being held on varying bail amounts…
