Woodlands’ 4th of July Parade hits 50-year milestone

HOUSTON (CW39) – If you’re tracking major Independence Day milestones across Greater Houston, one of the region’s longest-running celebrations is hitting a major anniversary this year in The Woodlands.

South Montgomery County 4th of July Parade returns for its 50th annual run on Saturday, July 4, 2026, drawing thousands of spectators to Market Street The Woodlands in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

This year’s theme, “America250!”, highlights the semiquincentennial with a large-scale community parade featuring floats, marching bands, local dignitaries, performers, fire engines, and horseback riders along a 1.3-mile route through Town Center.
