TULSA, Okla. – Tulsa City Councilor Laura Bellis is setting the record straight after sharing information she thought was accurate about artificial intelligence being used to monitor recycling contamination, only to learn the technology isn’t yet in use.

Bellis, who represents District 4, told constituents she believed AI technology was already being used to detect contaminants in Tulsa’s recycling program.
