AT&T users unable to call 911 in rural Scappoose

SCAPPOOSE, Ore. — AT&T customers are unable to call 911 amid an outage that’s spanned at least three days.

According to the Scappoose Rural Fire District, some AT&T have been unable to contact 911 via their cell service.

As of Wednesday evening, the Scappoose Rural Fire District said it has secured a temporary cell phone tower to restore service for AT&T users, which is expected to be operational within the next five hours…
