Three adjacent lots in Mott Haven are proposed for a major affordable housing development that would bring 537 rental apartments to Exterior Street along the Harlem River waterfront.
According to the city’s land use filing, the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development and East 138th Street JV Associates LLC are seeking approvals to develop two city-owned parcels at 63 Exterior Street and a privately owned lot at 110 East 138th Street into two affordable rental buildings totaling approximately 377,630 zoning square feet at a 3.89 floor area ratio.
