Hartselle woman faces felony drug charges after allegedly throwing meth from car during chase

HARTSELLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A Hartselle woman is facing felony drug charges after deputies say she threw a bag of methamphetamine from a moving vehicle during a chase.

Deputies say Terri Barnett was in the passenger seat of the car when she tossed approximately 4 ounces of meth out the window. Authorities say the bag landed near a child’s play house.

Charges filed against driver and passenger

Barnett is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and tampering with physical evidence. She is being held in the Morgan County Jail on a bond of more than $10,000…
