Medical Examiner reveals cause of death for Nashville firefighter

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Cocaine toxicity is the official cause of death of a Nashville firefighter, according to information released by the Medical Examiner’s Office.

On March 17, Wayne Barry, 56, was found unresponsive at Fire Station 32, where the 13-year veteran worked.
