Air conditioning went out at Delaney Hall during one of the state’s largest heat waves, exposing hundreds of detainees to sweltering conditions in a facility already under congressional investigation for human rights violations.
Neither the Department of Homeland Security nor the GEO Group, the company that runs the facility, responded Thursday to requests for comment.
