WEST READING, PA — Police are searching for a New Jersey woman accused of depositing fraudulent checks totaling more than $36,000.
Sharlene Pena, 26, of Jersey City, New Jersey, is wanted on a felony forgery charge filed April 16 by the West Reading Police Department.
Between Aug. 2 and Sept. 20, Pena deposited a fraudulent check for $13,183.10 and another for $23,330.00, according to the Berks County Sheriff’s Office…
