ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — After responding to a fire and finding the cause to be a recalled mini-fridge, the Henrietta Fire District warns others to check their make and model.
They said several weeks ago they responded to a significant fire on Red Creek Drive. After which they found the cause to be a recalled Curtis International fridge. Since then, there have been multiple similar fires across the country.
The recalled fridges pose a hazard because the electronics can short-circuit and ignite the surrounding plastic housing…
