CHARLOTTE, N.C. — An estimated 1,180 gallons of wastewater spilled into McAlpine Creek, Charlotte Water announced on Thursday.
The spill, which happened along Round Hill Road in south Charlotte, was attributed to a grease blockage, according to the agency. Cam Coley, a spokesperson for Charlotte Water, emphasized the importance of proper disposal methods.
