As the nation marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, a unique piece of artwork by artist Sri Krishna Swamy at the Forsyth County Courthouse is helping preserve its words for future generations.
The metal engraving features the full Declaration of Independence. After being displayed at several County facilities, it is now at the Forsyth County Courthouse.
In the 80s and 90s, poet and artist Sri Krishna Swamy, who traveled many times to visit his sons in the United States from India, enjoyed visiting Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, and learning all about American history.
