LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – The first phase of a project almost three years in the making is set to be completed at the end of the month.
The project, called the Community Care Campus, has been in the works since 2023. The campus will be on Breckinridge Street and offer a variety of services to people experiencing homelessness.
Volunteers of America Mid-States is already operating Unity House, a family shelter, here in Louisville. The first phase of the Community Care Campus will have another Unity House, which will have room for 29 families…
