More than half of Florida’s graded public schools earned an “A” this year, according to new school grades released by the Florida Department of Education, and several schools in the Big Bend moved up a letter grade.
Statewide, the number of D and F schools continued to shrink, and 60% of schools either improved their grade or held on to an A.
