TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — North Florida school districts posted generally strong results in Florida’s 2025-26 school grades, with Wakulla and Lafayette counties earning A district grades while Leon, Jefferson, Suwannee and Taylor finished with B ratings and Gadsden, Hamilton and Madison received C grades. The results continue a statewide trend of improving school performance.
The Florida Department of Education reported that 51% of graded schools statewide earned an A this year, up from 44% a year ago, while the number of D- and F-rated schools continued to decline.
