While many families are preparing for cookouts and Fourth of July celebrations, LaToneya McClain says the holiday weekend serves as a painful reminder of the day her son’s life was cut short.
“It’s like starting that day all over again,” McClain said. “The Fourth of July was a big thing for our family. We don’t even want to celebrate it no more.”
