Nationally known Aurora apartment complex to get facelift

AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) — An Aurora apartment complex, which gained national attention after video surfaced showing Venezuelan gang members outside a front door, is about to undergo a major renovation.

For now, the 5-building Edge at Lowry, at the corner of East 12th and Dallas Street, sits vacant, behind fencing. A security guard drives past 3-to-4 times a day to check on the property.

Back in 2024, surveillance camera footage was captured showing members of the violent Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua. Rumors swirled that the complex had been overtaken by the gang.
