LANE COUNTY, Ore. — A field fire that threatened a home near Perkins and Central roads on Thursday afternoon was contained before causing any structural damage, according to the Lane Fire Authority.
The Lane Fire Authority (LFA) responded at about 2 p.m. Thursday, July 2, after receiving a report of smoke in the area. Engine 101, staffed by two firefighters, arrived to find a field fire advancing toward a nearby residence.
