MEDINA — Families from across the community gathered Friday evening at the Medina Recreation Center for the annual Medina Fireworks Festival, experiencing an evening of entertainment, food and family-friendly activities before the city’s Independence Day fireworks display.
The festival kicked off at 5 p.m. and featured music, food trucks, inflatable attractions, carnival games and a foam party, giving attendees plenty to do as they waited for fireworks to begin at dusk. The event was even more special this year as they celebrated America’s 250th birthday and drew a large crowd as residents came together to mark the holiday weekend.
Children spent the evening playing on inflatables and participating in games while visitors sampled food from local vendors and listened to live music.
