BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Three men were arrested after a joint D.E.A. operation seized illegal drugs and fireworks in East Bakersfield.
The Bakersfield Police Department says Narcotics Detectives, Drug Enforcement Administration Agents, and California Highway Patrol Officers assigned to a D.E.A. task force received multiple complaints about two illegal marijuana dispensaries operating in East Bakersfield.
Police say the dispensaries were located in the 500 block of East California Avenue near a church.
The following was seized from 518 East California Avenue:
- 84.5 pounds of processed marijuana
- 1,229 THC wax products
- 581 THC vape pens
- 38 packaged THC edibles
- 134 Dianabol (steroid) tablets
- Two 10 mL vials of Trenbolone
- Ten 400 mg vials of Testosterone
- $8,794 in U.S. cash
- Approximately 5,300 pounds of illegal aerial fireworks
The following was seized from 522 East California Avenue:
- 19.1 pounds of processed marijuana
- 123 THC wax products
- 93 THC vape pens
- 92 packaged THC edibles
- 29 individual dosage units of psilocybin mushrooms
