You No Longer Have to Go to Dollywood to Buy Her World Famous Cinammon Bread

For many visitors, cinnamon bread has become one of the foods most closely associated with Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The sweet pull-apart loaf is baked fresh throughout the day at the park’s historic Grist Mill and is typically served with buttercream icing or apple butter. For years, travelers could only buy Dollywood cinnamon bread by entering the theme park.

That is no longer the case.

Visitors can now buy Dollywood cinnamon bread without purchasing admission to the theme park with the opening of Dolly’s Tennessean Travel Stop in Cornersville, Tennessee. The 24-hour travel stop now offers the cinnamon bread as part of its food selection, giving travelers another way to purchase the item outside Dollywood itself.

The Original Home of Dollywood’s Cinnamon Bread

Dollywood’s Grist Mill in Craftsman Valley remains the original home of the bread. According to the park, the mill opened in 1982 and was the first fully operational grist mill built in Tennessee in more than 100 years. Today, guests can still watch employees prepare the bread throughout the day while the mill continues grinding grain on site…
