Hyde & Turk Market Planned for Tenderloin Corner Store

A neighborhood mini market at 161 Hyde Street is set for a refresh as Hyde & Turk Market prepares to serve San Francisco’s Tenderloin community with an expanded selection of everyday essentials.

An opening date for Hyde & Turk Market has not yet been announced. Still, owner Ala Fahd Alghaithi told What Now San Francisco that the goal is to transform the store into a more complete neighborhood grocery destination.

“We are planning on upgrading the store,” Alghaithi said. “We will be accepting EBT payments and adding a produce section with fresh fruits and vegetables.”…
