Cameras in I-25 work zone decreased excessive speeding, CDOT says

Speed cameras in the work zone on north Interstate 25 south of Fort Collins have successfully decreased excessive speeding, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Since the speed cameras were installed on I-25 between Berthoud and Mead in March, excessive speeding in that stretch has decreased by 92%, CDOT said in a June 30 news release.

Speed cameras have been installed in two other work zones in the state: Colorado Highway 119 — the Diagonal Highway — between Boulder and Longmont and in the I-25 and U.S. 50B Interchange Reconstruction work zone in Pueblo…
