NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – More than 1,200 people with tickets for one of the best places to watch Nashville’s Fourth of July fireworks are scrambling for new plans.
The General Jackson Showboat will no longer pull up on the Cumberland River right in front of the fireworks display after the annual event was canceled due to “unexpected mechanical difficulties.”
Ticketholders received an email notification on Tuesday, just four days before the scheduled cruise.
