Once upon a time, Mission: Thrift got inventory by essentially picking over the leftovers at area garage and yard sales. That got the initial store stocked, according to company Chairman Brent Miller.
Ten years later, after being renamed Mission: Thrift — the original name was Restoration Thrift — the store is booming, filling 10,000 square feet with mostly donated merchandise.
“It took a lot of hard work, but our passion for kids and youth ministry and vision for what Mission: Thrift could become kept us going,” Miller said…
