LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Seven people and a dog were displaced after improperly discarded fireworks sparked a Leesburg house fire Friday night, according to the Loudoun County Fire and Rescue Department.
No one was hurt, but photos from the fire showed significant damage to the front of the garage and the side of the home. The inside of the home also sustained minimal damage, firefighters added.
Brush, multiple vehicles catch fire in Potomac; no injuries reported
The fire was deemed accidental, caused by legal fireworks that were not properly discarded outside the home, according to firefighters.
