A man wanted in connection to a shooting in Lakewood on Friday was arrested in Lorain on Saturday by members of the Lorain County Sheriff’s Office.
In a release sent Saturday, the Sheriff’s Office said that it learned that the suspect, Dwayne Marillo Shy, 28, was allegedly involved in an exchange of gunfire at the City Center Plaza in Lakewood and that a warrant for his arrest on a felonious assault charge had been filed in Lakewood Municipal Court.
The Sheriff’s Office said that deputies used its Flock Safety camera network to locate Shy in the city of Lorain and used additional surveillance to find his vehicle in a parking lot on the 1800 block of 42nd Street in the city…
