(WGHP) — We’ll see lingering showers and storms Sunday evening in the Piedmont Triad.
Damaging winds are the main concern with any of the stronger storms, but the threat drops considerably as we lose heat from the day.
Overnight, we’ll see partly cloudy skies, and temperatures will fall into the low 70s by Monday morning. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds, and afternoon temperatures will climb into the mid 90s. Another marginal risk for severe weather is in place for the potential of a few severe storms Monday afternoon that could be capable of producing damaging winds of 60 mph.
