Mother, son remembered as ‘special’: Community rallies for family in wake of deadly storms

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — A fundraiser is generating an outpouring of support for a family impacted by tragedy when storms turned deadly in central Pennsylvania over the holiday weekend.

Pamela Landis, 45, and her 11-year-old son Andre were killed when storms caused a tree to fall onto them at Mountain Creek Campground in Cumberland County on Saturday night.
