PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Providence police said they responded to two different incidents, a disturbance and an assault, within an hour of each other at the same location.
Around 2 a.m., police were called to the parking lot of 1266 Broad Street, Lovera VIP, following concerns that “pop-up” parties may be happening in that lot.
When officer arrived, they found about 300 people in the parking lot, where “individuals were consuming alcohol, smoking hookah, playing loud music, and setting off fireworks.”…
