Relief from any possibility of I-475/U.S. 23 being closed south of U.S. 24 for the next few weeks is offset by planned shutdowns of the Salisbury Road/Dussel Drive bridge over that freeway for maintenance.
Starting at 7 p.m. Friday, all lanes will be closed while the bridge’s approach slabs are adjusted and the roadway is repaved. The bridge is scheduled to reopen by 6 a.m. July 13 and the contractor will be docked $250 per hour for any reopening delay.
This work is expected to require two weekends to complete…
