Police have released details and the name of the victim killed in a freak accident during the Friday, July 3 storm.
Jared C. Hirschowitz, 41, died when a large tree limb crashed onto his moving vehicle on Raritan Road near Quimby Lane at approximately 8:08 p.m., Scotch Plains Police Chif David Lavery said.
