FREEPORT, Ill. (WIFR) – A water shutdown will affect several Freeport residents Tuesday, July 7, as city crews replace an outdated water hydrant near the Carroll Water Tower.
According to the City of Freeport, the shutdown will impact residents in the following areas:
- Carroll Avenue from Fuller Street to South Street
- Wayne Street from Chicago Avenue to Carroll Avenue
- East Roosevelt Street from Chicago Avenue to Carroll Avenue
Residents could experience discolored water, changes in water pressure and other impacts.
