SAPULPA, Okla. – A new soap box derby called “Rascals on Route 66” rolled through Sapulpa on Saturday as families gathered to celebrate Independence Day and Oklahoma’s connection to historic Route 66.
Organizers said the event was the second soap box derby race held in Oklahoma this year. Racers traveled down Route 66 through Sapulpa in categories for children, teens and adults.
