ATV Rider Killed in Late-Night Crash at Clark County Washington Intersection

CLARK COUNTY, Wash. — A 39-year-old ATV rider died after a collision with an SUV late Saturday night in Clark County, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded at approximately 11:30 p.m. on July 4, 2026, to a crash involving a vehicle and an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) at the intersection of Northeast 76th Street and Northeast 137th Avenue.

According to the preliminary investigation, a 2008 Ford Escape was traveling eastbound on Northeast 76th Street and was attempting to turn left onto northbound Northeast 137th Avenue. At the same time, a 39-year-old man was operating a 2003 Kawasaki ATV westbound on Northeast 76th Street without wearing a helmet or other protective equipment.
