FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A grass fire spread to a home, ultimately displacing people late Sunday afternoon, the North Central Fire Protection District announced.
Around 4 p.m., firefighters responded to a grass fire in the area of Dakota and Brawley avenues, where they reported finding the fire extended to a nearby home.
Crews say the fire initially ignited a half-acre of grass before climbing along the backside of a nearby structure. No one was inside at the time of the fire.
Crews reported the fire was ultimately contained, but the residents were displaced. The cause of the fire is under investigation…
