Beaver County residents should have ample opportunities to see Big Boy No. 4014, the world’s largest operating steam locomotive, as it travels across western Pennsylvania on the Union Pacific Railroad’s nationwide tour for America’s 250th birthday.
According to Union Pacific’s Steam Tour website, the train’s actual schedule may run sooner or later than the scheduled times posted on its Eastern Leg of the coast-to-coast tour, but rail fans can also check the Big Boy No. 4014 steam tracker online to see where the train is located each day. Any updates to the daily schedule will also be posted on Union Pacific’s social media channels.
