(FOX40.COM) — Those who think they got away with setting off illegal fireworks this Fourth of July might want to think again. The Sacramento Fire Department confirmed their new drone technology caught a significant number of illegal fireworks shows happening across the community last night.
Officials said those fine notices will be sent to perpetrators soon.
According to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, there were 263 fire incidents reported across the region last night.
