Affordable housing for seniors planned for this vacant lot in downtown Roseville

The previous site of a Placer Superior Court building in downtown Roseville is now planned to become affordable housing.

Eden Housing plans to build a four- or five-story building containing 50 to 60 units of affordable housing for seniors at the site, said Charles Liuzzo, Eden’s director of real estate development.

The city, which owns the 1.17-acre site at 505 Royer St., has been looking for a developer for several years. The city then put out a “request for proposals,” last year, and selected Eden, Liuzzo said…
