Gov. Evers Appoints Jeremy Guza to the Waukesha County Circuit Court

MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers also announced today his appointment of Jeremy Guza to the Waukesha County Circuit Court – Branch 3. The appointment will fill the vacancy being created by Judge Ralph M. Ramirez’s retirement. Guza will complete a term ending July 31, 2027.

“As a veteran and a defense lawyer, Jeremy Guza has a deep commitment to service and protecting our constitutional rights, both of which will serve the people of Waukesha County well,” said Gov. Evers.

Since 2014, Guza has owned and operated Guza Law Office LLC, a criminal defense and family law firm representing clients across Southeast Wisconsin. From 2017 to 2020, he also worked for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a veterans’ service representative, where he evaluated eligibility for veterans’ disability benefits. Prior to his legal career, Guza served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard for seven years. He was deployed to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2004 to 2005…
