MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — Mobile police continue to search for a missing toddler, who investigators believe is in danger after she and her mother left a west Mobile facility without permission. Investigators are looking for 19-year-old Candelaria Lopez Gomez and her 2-year-old daughter, Keysi.
“The daughter and the mom were both actually in custody of DHR, staying at a facility in west Mobile,” said MPD spokesperson Blake Brown.
Neither Brown nor the United Methodist Children’s Home will confirm they stayed at that facility, but it is located on the same block on Schillinger Road where police say they were last seen.
