From helming a Michelin-starred restaurant when he was only 25 to starring on Netflix’s The Final Table to opening a restaurant in Edinburg, chef Graham Campbell has never taken a conventional path. His latest stop is Castlehill, now open at 5138 UTSA Blvd.
Campbell first gained fame when he was named the executive chef of the Ballachulish Country House Hotel in Fort William, Scotland. During his tenure, the property’s restaurant received Michelin recognition, making Campbell one of the youngest chefs to head a starred restaurant.
He was still in the United Kingdom when he appeared on Netflix’s culinary competition, paired up with a New York chef who eventually made the leap to San Antonio, Aaron Bludorn. Although he didn’t score a win, The Final Table did spark a life change.
