The Middletown Grange Fair returns to Wrightstown from August 12 to 16, 2026, and for five days the fairgrounds off Penns Park Road turn into the busiest little slice of old-fashioned summer in Bucks County. Ferris wheel lights, blue-ribbon zucchinis, 4-H kids leading their calves around the ring, funnel cake in one hand and a lemonade in the other: this is the fair that generations of local families plan their August around, and 2026 looks like another good one.
Whether you have gone every summer since childhood or you are new to the area and wondering what all the fuss is about, here is a full guide to what the fair is, what to see, and how to make the most of a day out there.
When, where, and what it costs
The fair runs Wednesday, August 12 through Sunday, August 16 at the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds, 576 Penns Park Road, Wrightstown, PA 18940. Gates are open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday to close things out.
Here is the best part: admission is completely free. The only cost to get in the gate is parking, at $20 per car, and that money does real good, it helps support the local fire and police organizations that keep the event running. The amusement rides open a little later than the exhibit halls, at 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and at noon on both weekend days, so plan your timing around whether you are there for the animals and exhibits or the midway…
