Toledo police to start ‘compassion fatigue’ training; psychology expert explains what it is

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Toledo Police Department is adding new training for officers after the chief said viral interactions with youth reflected poorly on the department.

One of those trainings is meant to combat something law enforcement can be susceptible to: compassion fatigue.
