LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The city of Little Rock will receive a $30 million grant from entrepreneur and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to help fund the 30 Crossing Park in the downtown area.
The Bezos Earth Fund announced that the grant as part of a $100 million investment with the Greening America’s Cities initiative to fund parks and green spaces across eight cities.
Bezos Earth Fund President and CEO Tom Taylor joined Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott Jr., Congressman French Hill and Little Rock Regional Chairwoman Ruth Whitney to make the announcement.

The organization said the grant will support the initial phase of the project. Park renderings released from city officials show that it will include a welcome center, playground and sports courts.
