One week ago today, I was walking the Freedom Trail in Boston…and since it was over 90 degrees, I am sure I smelled absolutely lovely.
As I was grabbing a selfie in front of the Samuel Adams statue with the orange cone on his head (thanks to the FIFA fans from Scotland), I realized that I was also standing in front of one of the most iconic buildings in the United States – Faneuil Hall.
Growing up in the Midwest, it’s not every day when I see a building that was built in 1742 or has been THE location for so many historical moments. But learning about this iconic spot that I was standing next to set me on a new adventure.
Ready For An Adventure? Check Out The Top Iconic Spots In Every State Throughout The U.S.
I love exploring new places and while some people love seeing all of the baseball stadiums or National parks, visiting the most iconic spots in each state might be what I start checking off. I had a few miles to think as I kept walking along the Freedom Trail, and I was curious what other iconic buildings were considered the top picks in the United States.
I found a list from Stacker of the most iconic locations in each state and honestly, was a bit surprised by a few on the list. See their top spots below…
