SAN ANTONIO – Firefighters and emergency medical services in unincorporated Bexar County worked an extra day over the Fourth of July weekend as they responded to more than 26 suburban cities.
According to the Bexar County Fire Marshal’s Office, firefighters responded to 32 firework-related calls this year, down three fires from this holiday and seven from the year prior.
