Suspect in custody after police incident in Summit County: I-Team

HUDSON, Ohio (WJW) – A wanted man was arrested in Summit County on Tuesday evening after multiple police pursuits ended in crashes and an trooper-involved shooting, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.

Julius Edwards, a 39-year-old Canton man, was taken into custody. Investigators said he was wanted in connection to an attempted murder in Canton.

According to the highway patrol, around 3:20 p.m., state troopers were told to look out for Edwards in a Kia Telluride after investigators said he fled Canton police and U.S. Marshals.
